On Sunday, June 6, we are beginning a new message series entitled “Jesus Said That!?!?” delving into statements of Jesus that are puzzling, sometimes contradictory, difficult to understand and appear to be inconsistent with the character or mission of Jesus.

"Celtic Christians had a name for the Holy Spirit - An Gaedh-Glas, or 'the Wild Goose.' The name hints at mystery. Much like a wild goose, the Spirit of God cannot be tracked or tamed. An element of danger, an air of unpredictability surround him. And while the name may sound a little sacrilegious, I cannot think of a better description of what it's like to follow the Spirit through life. I think the Celtic Christians were on to something... Most of us will have no idea where we are going most of the time. And I know that is unsettling. But circumstantial uncertainty also goes by another name: adventure."

Join us to hear what God is doing all over the world! This year we have a brother/sister team, Drew and Jessica, representing north Africa.

Here's our schedule of events for the week of 2/28-3/4:

Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.: Pastor Jeff will be sharing about his recent mission trip to the Dominican Republic

Sunday @5:30 p.m.: Dinner at the Lighthouse Foundation. Drew will be speaking about his experiences in Mali

Monday @7:00 p.m.: Jessica, a missionary nurse, will be speaking about her experiences in Burkina Faso at Jon and Patty's house

Tuesday @7:00 p.m.: Jessica will be speaking to the adults at the church, and Drew will be speaking to the children

Thursday @6:30 p.m.: Jessica and Drew will be speaking at King's Restaurant on Rt. 8
